does anyone else feel guilty taking medicane?
the dr told me to take robutussin DM for my cough and gave me antibiotics(which i am not taking since he said i didnt really need them.
i have been taking it every 4 hours since last night and i just feel bad doing so
i dont know why i feel this way because i have eaten and drank everything i shouldnt have but idk the medicane is just different for me

No I never feel guilty taking meds when they are needed.
It is very important that we feel well and take care of our bodies during pregnancy, and if medicine is what is needed to feel better and the dr ok's it then I am all for it.

I totally get how you feel. When I was pregnant and had a nasty cold I felt guilty even taking a Tylenol! Really though, I had a low grade fever and it would be harmful for the baby if my body got too warm. Same with your really bad cough- it's probably not even best for the baby for you to be constantly hacking   I would just do what the dr says w/ the meds and try not to feel guilty- Remember all the responsible choices you make day to day

i took nyquil for 2 nights before i got my bfp and felt bad even tho i didnt know!
thankfully my sore throat and cough pretty much went away after i got my bfp...
but if the doctor says its ok i wouldnt feel bad
