Does anyone agree that ...
Thanksgiving Weekend is a very busy weekend? I was trying to explain this to DH and his sister. I want to take DS to see Santa and SIL suggested we go to the new mall by them, fine (doesn't matter which mall we go to). DH wants to go next weekend. I was like "it's going to be crazy". He wanted to know why and I told him cuz it was Thanksgiving Weekend.
I know Thanksgiving is on a Thursday but that whole weekend is busy. Isn't it the official start of the Holiday weekend. I've always heard it's one of the busiest weekends of the year. I used to work for a company where we planned an annual dental convention and the weekend part of it was really busy. A lot of people are town that weekend as well because during the week is the lighting of the christmas tree. I really don't want to go that weekend. Then again from now on every weekend will be busy until after all the holidays. Maybe we can try during the week. DH is taking a day off in December so we'll see...

Once you hit Thanksgiving, the malls are CRAZY on the weekends. I'm avoiding them completely. I would say take him during the week if you can, and the sooner the better.

i totally agree with you. next weekend is "black friday weekend", yes i said weekend, LOL. the malls will be nuts!!! go this weekend, im sure it will be crowded, but not as bad.

Totally a crazy weekend! I think your DH should take off a day during the week if he can --- you can do a fun Family Christmas day together, see Santa, go to lunch, some shopping, etc.

Yeah I forgot to mention that it's black Friday the day after. I want to go this weekend but he says he's got a lot of school work to do. He does plan on taking off Dec. 4 maybe we can go then.
