Does 20 Weeks = 5 Months in Pregnancy?

Just wondering, I know all the trimesters confuse the Heck out of me, but does the month of your pregnancy vary too ?

Here you go - I got this off a website when I was prego becuz I could never figure it out.

4wks = 1 month
8wks = 2 months
12wks = 3 months
16wks = 4 months
20wks = 5 months
24wks = 6 months
28wks = 7 months
32wks = 8 months
36wks = 9 months
40wks = 10 months

ETA: This is Lunar months.

It does have a different one, I think they all do.... I will use the regular calender 4 weeks = 1 Month.

So confusing ..

Ok, this always confused me, too. But
0-4weeks you are IN your first month.
4-8 weeks, you IN you second month.
8-12 weeks, you are IN your third month, etc.

So at 20 weeks, you are IN you fifth month. Don't forget that pregnancy is 10 months long.

I agree with the first part of this, but I never understand when people say pregnancy lasts 10 months. I know when I conceived and my pregnancy went full term--40 weeks, 2 days. That's a full nine months, but not 10

I see what you're saying. Yeah, I guess you're really NOT prego 10 months, especially using the way I figured out the months! Prego brain. But it's useful for making someone else feel bad when they don't sympathize with the pregos

i do not count 4 weeks as one month. i count backwards from my due date.

if august 6th will be 9 months then may 6th will be 6 months, but i will be 27 weeks.

does that seem logical?

Trying to figure out the months confuses me! One book says one thing, then I'll see online another!

I have yet to figure out the months....so I've been sticking with the weeks. But then I get funny looks from some people who don't understand the weeks thing either. You can't win

Pregnancy is really 9 months, 1 week. If you look at how they calculate your due date, they say either....go back 3 months and add a week, or add nine months, 1 week. The first day of my last period was Sept 1 (easy date), so every 1st of the month I'm another month pregnant. So I use that as my guide. The whole lunar month thing (4 weeks, so 10 months) makes no sense.

wow - so I am five months preggers..I thought I was about 4 and a half ..hmm....so confusing!
