Doctors
How often do you end up going to the doctors?
And i am not talking for regular visits (like gynos or chiro)

Oh gosh, if I had a dime for every time I end up at the doctors...a lot. But I think I'm jinxing myself b/c I haven't been there since the spring.

the older I get, the more often I find myself going.. 
I went for YEARS without going to see a general practitioner, now I make it a point to go for my annual physical 1x a year
But still only if I'm REALLY ill or have some sort of issue will I pick up the phone and go any other time... and then most times I will just jump ahead to a specialist before bothering w/my regular physician
edited to add: this year, I have only gone 1x to my gen'l practitioner (for the physical) any other appointments have been the OBGYN and/or eye doctor, neurologist..(for migraine issues)

Besides regular checkups I try not to go unless I am near death....I am just too cheap to go.
I have visited a dermatologist a few times lately though.

whenever i am sick, which is usually once or twice a year. i have to go every 12 weeks for my BC.

I go to the gyno every 6 months religiously. I also go to the dentist religiously every 6 months. I haven't gotten a full check up in so long, but when I am sick I go to the dr. I actually made an appointment for a physical in November.. I want to start going once a year.

Outside of standard checkups - maybe 1-3x a year...mainly bc I'm catching things like sinus infections, strep from kids.
I religiously go to DDS 2x a year. Every year on my bday I make an appointment to have a skin check from my dermatologist. As long as I insist on trying to have some sort of tan. This is my compromise.

I had a physical in August, first one in AGES, I can't even recall when I last went.
I am asthmatic, so I used to have to go a lot, 5-6 times a year when it was bad. Thankfully, I have had almost two years now where I've been almost symptom-free.

just lately, seems I've been going alot. seeing the neurologist this week for this pain in my arm and getting an echo and sonogram at the cardiologist next week
