Doctor OBGYN

I was considering switching my OBGYN. I had a pap done a couple of weeks ago and had made an appointment with another doctor. Do you think I should still go? Do you think it will be an issue with the new doctor?

I'm not really sure what you're asking.

Usually your insurance will only cover a certain amount of paps/year unless there's some evidence of another problem...

I have no clue if I'm answering your question though! haha

Re: Doctor OBGYN

I don't really know why I asked the question. I met with a new doctor and was considering switching dr.s and was wondering if I should meet the 2nd doctor I made an appointment with just because it took so long to make the appointment.

I think I will just cancel it.
Thanks

Oh okay, I wasn't sure if you meant that you wanted to get another pap - so I was just trying to say that it might not be covered.

If you want to just meet with him and see if you get along since he might be your OB.. then you can definitely do that! Maybe make it like a "consult" about TTC.. KWIM?

Re: Doctor OBGYN

You can go and see a new dr just not for another pap. I would go to discuss somthing with the dr. This is a consult. Good Luck!!Chat Icon
