Doctor just called with some bad news (and question about Provera)
I had b/w done last week to test my Progesterone level to see if I'm releasing mature eggs. My level was 2.4. He wanted to see 6-7. He's giving me Provera to bring on AF (I'm on CD33) and bumping my Clomid to 150mg. Once I get AF I can call the office to schedule everything for the IUI.
So my question is how long does it usually take for AF to arrive after taking the Provera? And are there any side effects I should be aware of?

Wanted to give you  . I may be down that road in a few days.... Not sure how long it takes for Provera to bring on AF. If I remember from 10+ years ago I think its around 1 week  Not 100% though. Good luck

AF will arrive with Provera in about 5-7 days.

what CD did he do the tests? Did he explain what 2.4 level mean? No O or eggs are not mature enoigh?

I had no side effects from the Provera. I always took it right before bed so that may help. I ALWAYS got AF the day after my last pill. AF lasted just a few days, not a crazy heavy flow either.

how many days of provera and what dosage?
i did 5 days worth of it 3 times.
the first time it took 6 days after the last pill to get AF, 2nd time 4 days, and third time 7 days.
no specific side effects that i recall.

I usually got AF within 5 days of the last pill. One time she showed up before I was done taking them.
I had some pretty serious mood swings while on it.
