Doctor advice
I am back again, lurking on the TTC board. I just suffered my third miscarriage. I know I am capable to have kids, I had two healthy pregnancies but I am still praying for one more healthy baby. I would like to start off with a specialist to find out what is going on with me. I might have a hormone thing going on or I might just be an old mommy, I am 38 years old. I live in Suffolk County, south shore. Thanks!

Are you looking for recommendations on a specialist?
If so, I used Dr. Pena in Wet Islip. I have a rare hormone issue that went misdiagnosed by by my OB and an RE at NYU. He is brilliant and a perfectionist which I liked. His bedside manner on the other hand is atrocious so you have to have thick skin and keep your mind on the prize

Thanks for the support and advice! I live near West Islip, so it sounds perfect. I find that many of these superstar docs lack the bedside manner but as you said, it might be worth the go. Any other recommendations?

I am so sorry for your losses. I had 3 mc last year after having a healthy baby. I started seeing dr kofinas who is a Perinatologist after my third loss and I will be 21 weeks tomorrow and all looks well so far. I highly recommend his practice

Doctor advice
Sorry about your losses. I don't know any doctor in Suffolk County. I went to a great RE doctor in NYC that I highly recommend.

he is who i went to also...loved him and highly recommend him!

Thanks for all of your advice. I called Kofinas' office and I am in the process of making an appointment. I had a girlfriend also use him and she credits the birth of her daughter to him.
