I don't have any rules about it
I wash things when they are dirty or are too streched out
I have to send my laundry out- so if there is no reason to pay to wash something i don't
I wear mostly leggings and jeans (or skinny cargos) I rarely wear dress pants and those I dry clean

Me too! IMO jeans fit better the less they are washed!!! I do febreeze them, but I never go more than 3xs without washing them....am I gross????

this makes me feel dirty
am i the only one who feels like jeans are more comfortable the less they're washed?
i only have 4 pairs of work pants, and 3 of them are black, so i end up wearing black pants 4/5 days a week n at least 1 pair gets repeated..

i've also read that its best for jean care that they not get washed every wearing.

Dont feel dirty-it was more from an outfit standpoint not cleanliness issue.

Jeans absolutely - most of the time I wear them to the office, come home and put sweats on. So really, all I did was sit at my desk in them.

I wear jeans until they are noticeably dirty. I actually hate washing my jeans. It takes a few times to wear them in just right.
Work pants I wear once or twice. Since having kids, usually only once because I play with my kids as soon as I walk in, and they usually get my pants dirty.

Yes, I wear both work pants and jeans about 2 or 3 times before I wash/dry clean them.
ETA: But I don't wear them more than once in the same week if that makes sense.

Probably, but I leave the house super early and have to tiptoe around not to wake up my daughter, so unless I lay my clothes out the night before, I'm kind of screwed. Other mornings I just don't give a damn. Sometimes I wish I had to wear a uniform. Ok, more than sometimes.

When I was working, I never did. Now that I am home with DS, I don't keep track and definitely do.
On a smiliar note, DH recently heard or saw on some program that it is recommended not to wash jeans more than every 6 months!  The weirdo expert said something about rinsing them in water and vinegar or something. Gross! But now I don't feel so bad when I pull my jeans out after wearing them 3-4 times. Although maybe this doesn't apply to mommies of young kids who wipe food all over you...

Yes....I can't afford to have a bajillion pairs of pants. I do wash them after wearing though...I can't wear them twice without washing.
