Do you wear...
white pants after labor day??
I know they say you can now, but I just can't bring myself to do it, I don't know why!
And I really want to wear a pair that I got this year, just a few more times.

Yep! I've said the same thing in another post...I couldn't wear white pants for the longest time (because they didn't look good) and now that I can and they look great, I'm not giving them up without a fight!!!! I'm even going to get a pair of 'winter white' pants for the winter

ABSOLUTELY! That "rule" was never even really a rule.. what about winter white? I'd be iffy about white linen pants once fall hits and it's no longer warm out, but i wouldn't wear any linen once fall hit...but white jeans... totally!!

I personally don't wear white pants at all because I am too heavy, but, if you want, definitely wear them! That rule is so old and doesn't really apply anymore, IMO!

It's hard for me. I know it's ridiculous but my mother's 'etiquette rules' are firmly ingrained in my head. But I don't knock anyone else who does!

So funny, I was concerned about my outfit when I put on a white skirt today. I don't own white pants but I guess the same rule applies for white skirts. I don't go by the labor day rule....I go by the weather.

I wear winter white, but I do maybe once or twice until September 21, the official start of fall. But you definitely can do winter white!

I do but not as often. Actually last weekend I wore white capris to a birthday party. To me, until it is officially fall, anything goes!!!!

I own a pair of thicker winter white pants - for about 2 years they have sat in my closet and I have just not gotten up the courage to wear them in the fall/winter (but they are way too thick for the summer). Damn fashion rules ingrained in my head!
