Do you think you lose "quality" if you O late?

For me anyway, since I O a few days later this past month that the "quality" of my O was dimminished in some way. Since it was delayed because it wasn't all there to begin with that it wasn't as good as an ovulation would have been if it had been on time? Does that make sense? Again, like my other post, in my head it does?

Or maybe I'm just making excuses for me not being PG yet on.

as a consistently late ovulator I can honestly say I dont believe that (other people told me that my eggs werent good if I O'd late when I was trying to get pregnant too...I just had to remember they werent doctors). I got pregnant with DS when I O'd on CD 25 and with this pregnancy I O'd on CD 35 so dont lose hope if you ovulate late

its somewhat true that the longer it takes for the egg to pop the lower the egg quality. a follie CAN be too mature..

that being said though you can absolutely get pregnant and have a normal perfect baby with a late O. it happens ALL the time.
