I said I was going to throw up, and I too wish I was being dramatic. I actually ran to the bathroom thinking I was going to throw up bc my stomach was in such knots.

I've gone through all the feelings too. Right now I'm just sad. Sad that all the hate that was spewed is winning. Truly sad that my kids have to grow up in a county with so much hate. Sad that all the amazing progress Obama made is in jeopardy. And for the first time in my life, I'm unsure if my country is the greatest...

I get it people don't want someone who is a career politician but this guy really? Tjhe Democrats are partly to blame. She is the most hated person in polticis we should have nominated someone else.
Ugh I just can't even take this. Jan 20th is going to be a sad day.

It's projected, they project based on percentage and remaining vote outstanding.

I think the media had a real effect on this election. They were sooooo pro-HC and it backfired. I think people felt they didnt need to vote for her because she already won, AND it caused his supporters to make sure they got to the polls.

I think any other Democratic candidate would have killed Trump. Clinton is hated, I don't think I realized just how hated she was until tonight. The Dems should have nominated someone else, I believe tonight would be playing out very differently.

I agree. Sanders would have been a landslide. As a republican I would have gladly voted for Sanders over Trump.
Stocks are going down but they will stabilize. Corporations are going to love Trump in office if that happens. And lets remember whoever wins, there are checks and balances in our government so no one person is all powerful.

So far these results demonstrate the unhappiness of the citizens of this country. I believe the majority of Trump voters are not supporters, rather they are people who are tired of the same old. They wanted a change. Change is scary, but our government has a system of checks and balances. I don't believe there's a need for hysteria and panic attacks. At least at this point.
