Do you think this would be fun?
for a bachelorette party....
light lunch and early afternoon at a spa with just the bridesmaids....followed by a lingere/fun gift shower with her closest friends at an apartment in NYC with snacks, drinks....out to dinner at Dip, then dancing until the wee hours.....

and any suggestions for fun places to go dancing? maybe also with a lounge area for those who don't want to dance (there will be about 10 of us)

it doesn't have a lounge, but half the place is a bar and then they open up the other half into a dance floor after 11pm or so - it's not a fancy place, i just have always had a good time there - mad river bar and grille. 82nd st and 3rd ave.

It sounds like a lot of fun. My only concern would be to make sure that all of the bridesmaids are on board for the plan because it could be expensive to do lunch, spa, fun shower, drinks/snacks, dinner and dancing!

yes, sounds awesome! my girls did a bunch of things similar to this for me too, and it worked out great because they could pick and choose what the came to if they couldn't make all of the activities. This kept the cost down for those that had the concern.

like somebody else said, though- just be careful about the costs to the other bridesmaids. they might feel like they have to go to every event, and that could really add up for them!
but, hey, if they're ok with... have fun!!! 
ETA: we're doing somethign similar for a bach party in a couple weeks. we're going to ELMO lounge/restaurant in the city for dinner, and then heading to Lotus club. Never been to either, but the other girl whos planning it with me said elmo has good food and cool atmosphere, and we got a recommendation for Lotus that its a cool atmosphere and good crowd... so we'll see!
