Do you think this is a cool gift? and recommendation
My DH LOVES food. Loves eating, cooking etc. Do you think a cooking lesson at the Culinary Institute would be a cool bday gift?
Has anyone taken a cooking class somewhere they really liked? Please share
ETA; I would take the class with him.

thats an awesome gift- I've been there, gone on a tour and had lunch as part of a group I was in during college and loved it!

awesome & very thoughtful gift.
Just be careful and make sure he has time... I bought my husband Yoga Classes for his bday one year b/c he always wanted to try it. Thing is with his schedule, and his hefty commute it was hard for him to make all the classes.
Then again, my DH works in Jersey (classes were in Bayside) and we have a kid and he watches him while I'm in school.

If it's ONE cooking lesson then it's probably doable... You can make a date out of it...
With DH's Yoga classes, there were 10 of them and they expired after a few months.

That is a great gift.
I have taken a bunch of classes in NYC at ICE- institute of Culinary Education. They have a great list of recreational classes.
That might work if he is coming in from NJ.
