Do you think Janet will need food. UPDATED W/ RON'S REPLY
I'm thinking of making rice, beans, steak, possibly empanadas and putting them in containers for her. Do you think she will need this or should I instead bake cake and cookies?
Possibly both?
I'm emailing Ron tonight so I can find out how to send it to her
eta. UPDATED WITH RON'S REPLY. HE WROTE...
"Thank you so so much. Right now Janet is living at the hospital thus just getting a bite here and there from the diner or snack bar. When she returns home we will organize some meals for her. Thank you so much for your concern, support and generosity."
FOR WHOEVER WAS THINKING OF SENDING MEALS, WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR RON'S INSTRUCTIONS AS TO WHEN AND WHERE.

I think she probably will yes...and cookies would be great IMO for her daughter...Anything freezable would probably be best so down the line if shes having a bad day, she can grab something for her DD without having to cook.

jessica- Im having personal problems where Im not able to cook....But for you or anyone else who is. I would be more then willing to help finacially those who can cook for her. I could send it via paypal?

oh, it's ok. I'm not working right now so I can't give financially, but I felt that I needed to do something, so I'm going to make food. Thank you so much though.

Same here!! I am sure the days ahead are going to be even harder and I am sure the last thing on her mind will be cooking for her, her daughter and others.

Well if some of the girls who want to cook but can not I would love to open my house so that we can all make some meals together. So as soon as Ron give the go ahead, we can set something up at my house.

I'm in! She may need some help with having people over after services (god forbid) and it would be great if we could all get together and help her "cater" that so she doesn't have to worry.

If we are all going to try and cook something, we should have some sort of list of things everyone is making so she doesn't wind up with 10 baked zitis. Maybe Ron could help us with organizing what types of food everyone is making.

I don't know anything about construction but I would be willing to pitch in what I can like painting, cleaning, etc.
