I feel like I'm constantly spending money on my home but, I don't view it as a money pit - I picture the house in the movie when I think of money pits.

Home ownership=money!! Even after building a new house, 26 yrs. up the road, one has to replace things. We already replaced our central heat/air system, a few yrs. ago. We replaced our water softening system, and several appliances. I try to make do as long as possible. We still have our original frig, and stove. We replaced our living room carpet in 1996, so by now it's old; We really need to replace all our floor coverings, but the economy...... Mary
