I definitely don't think it's just a girl thing. My nephew has one (which I tried to find a pic of but couldn't) that's navy blue and white check- supposed to be a more boy-ish color. He pushed that thing around everywhere- carries his Curios George doll in it, his trucks, his buses, you name it!
