Yes - we always said 3 or 4 but now after these beauties we say possibly 5.   But of course we have to see how things go and how much we can handle!

Does anyone get shocked reactions from people when you mention that you might want more children? THat seems to happen to me a lot!

I cant really say I have twins yet...but I had irish twins--2-15-95 and 2-15-96/..
one with constant night terrors and one with extreme colic until almost one.
I am now preg with twins...I think after 2 close in age-I thrive on chaos.
I think alot of u will change your minds!

Most definetly, but I want to wait a few years. I am very fearful though of having another set of twins. ALthough I have read that there is a 1 in 70,000 chance of having another set of identical twins, lately i have been hearing a bunch of people who have two sets. One is a neighbor of a friend of ours...another person told us they work with a person who has two sets...and finally I just got my Dec subscription to Twins magazine and there are two pictures of two sets of twins that look identical to me. Plus they mentioned in that magazine that there seems to be a bunch of people they know that have two sets.
I just don't want to go through another high risk pregnancy again. That was really the rough part. It's a joy having them now!

I agree, I love having twins but I am scared of the thought of another high risk pregnancy. I have fraternal and I've heard that if you have one set you are 5 times as likely to have another set. And I've heard of several families who have more than 1 set so it is true! With that being said, we will now wait longer than we had originally planned.

We are done, tubes tied, done.
We have 3 though, I have an 8 year old from a previous relationship and then the twins.
I also heard that once you have fraternal twins you are at a high risk of having them again. I am a little sad that we are done though.

If they are fraternal your chances of having another set go up. Identical is very rare to have more then one set. I am not sure that I want to risk the odds though, LOL!!
We always said only 2, then we said maybe, now after I ahd to have my stomach muscles repaired from this pregnancy and hernias and then not healing well at all, and having an open wound for 2 months, I am not sure i want to go thur with another possible surgery.
I also worry about if we have another boy would he feel like the odd man out?

I am also scared of having another set of twins.
Your chances increase the second time and as you get older. Not really the idea of twins, but the pregnancy was rough and I was told I had a pretty good pregnancy.

We are most likely done, but there are days when I want to be PG again. DH thinks I'm crazy!!!!! I too, am scared of another set of twins. Once was definitely enough.

That's sort of my boat... the boys are identical but there are so many sets of twins in my family that I could potentially have fraternals next time! Only God knows...
My cousin knows a couple that had THREE sets of fraternal twins. I told her I didn't believe her and made her send me a picture. Sure enough she was right.

Ironic you should say that -- my friend said that it's my third pregnancy that she would worry about for another set!! How that middle singleton would feel

her quads are 10 years old..They were on the news and everything bla bla--they were the second set of quads on Long Island.
I had my daughter the same year.
My daughter had extreme colic and got up every hour and half and had colic until age ONE.
She read books, vacuumed under their cribs....had everything under control-Do not get me wrong she had help...but..
she had them on this unreal schedule from day 1/
With that many you have to*****
so..I am following her exact schedule-and praying...no more colic!
her fifth was a fluke and just happened...
All five girls are beautiful! and all the quads were healthy--weighed between 3 1/2 and 4 pounds and were home within 2 weeks..She was VERY lucky.
