Do you text in "text speak"?
When you text, most of the time, do you text in full sentences, and relatively proper spelling, or do take a lot of texting shortcuts?
I try and text as close to proper English as I can.

I use lol, haha, emojis. But I also try to structure my sentences properly and use punctuation. I am a weirdo when it comes to grammar. I have a friend who ends every sentence in a period, even a question. Drives me bonkers.

Proper. I write short and to the point.
Longer messages are an actual conversation.
My first job in the dark ages I had to learn Telex writing. That was before e- mail came about.

I use some texting shortcuts, depending on who I am speaking to, but for the most part I do try and use proper English and well constructed sentences.

I use full words and proper grammar, but I do use texting acronyms such as "lol."
I DO try to avoid sounding too stuffy and formal though, so I generally avoid semicolons, for example. I'll just use a period instead.

And I hate when auto correct doesn't know what I am trying to spell.

Proper English. It takes me longer to figure out how to abbreviate words than to actually write the full thing.
And if I realize I made a typo, I send a quick text to correct it.
