Do you send gifts to you doctor's office?
As of now, I have not.
If so, what do you usually give and when?
Do you give gifts around the holidays?

I have been meaning to get the ped a gift for a while and haven't. I intend to this Christmas. Not sure what I will get - probably something personalized or edible. DD1 burned herself very bad last year and the ped was wonderful - we were in the hospital for a week and she called me everyday to check on DD and told me to call her any time day or night if I needed anything, so I really wanted to get something to show my appreciation.
I brought donuts and a box of joe to my 6w pp for my ob's office. I was really happy with my care during my pregnancy and delivery and wanted to say thank you. I wanted to get something better, but it was too hard with a 6 week old!
I think if your dr goes above and beyond it is nice to say thank you with a gift.

Do you send gifts to you doctor's office?
If my visit is around Christmas, or any other major holiday I bring some cookies, otherwise no.
I gave a gift to my OB, but with all my complications I saw him 2-3 times a week and I got bagels and coffee for NICU nurses when DS was there.

Do you send gifts to you doctor's office?
for hanukah i give a box of kosher cookies to DS's pediatrician (kosher because the doctor is orthodox). and ill give cookies to my back surgeon.

Same. Usually some kosher black and white cookies or something and I send a holiday card with the boy's pic on it.

The only doctor that I've ever given a gift to was my RE's office when I was discharged, and that was just a cookie platter.

I'm a big fan of my pediatrician but I am not sure why our relationship would warrant a gift to be honest.

I did to my ob/gyn after delivery... edible arrangement... but that is bc I basically lived there and also I used to work there.
if a situation arose where I felt they went above and beyond, i'd probably bake something.
otherwise i'd just send a Christmas card at the holidays.

I sent gifts of food to my obgyn/office at the delivery of both of my children. I also brought an edible arrangement to the PT who helped me for 6 months. Other doctors, no. I do not send gifts. I would only do so for going above and beyond to help me in times of need. I pay them for their services, that should be enough.
