Do you have window coverings on every single window?

We are in the process of renovating our kitchen and we need new blinds.....do you have window coverings on every single window on your first floor? DH hates anyone being able to see in for security reasons but my neighbors all have main windows that they leave completely bare so anyone can see into their homes....just curious how everyone else feels....

Yes I do.. if not for privacy reasons, I do it for decorating reasons.. I just think windows should be dressed up.

yes i have blinds and curtains.. i dont like people to look in, creeps me out!

i do.
when we first moved in we did the basics.... white sheers on all the windows. its a lot to buy for all the windows at once.

now we have the blinds and white sheers and the bedroom has curtains.

i'm in the process of getting curtains for the rest of the windows now. its hard to find ones you like AND for a decent price.

yes we have plantation shutters in our kitchen w/ a valance

blinds and curtains in the lr & dr
and just blinds in the 2 bedrooms

Some have just blinds... but were getting new windows in october... once they are in it will be just curtains...

My aunt works in a curtain store so i get a good deal

Yes, blinds and curtains on every window because our neighbor's are so close to us, they can see in many of our windows!

we just moved in so not every room has curtains yet but every window has blinds, makes me uneasy knowing people could peer in the window...

Not every window. Some windows on the 2nd floor can't be seen into because of the way they are situated. DC's bathroom has a frosted film on the lower half of the window for privacy. I didn't want to put blinds or curtains in their bathroom, since I wasn't sure if they would get damaged or anything.

my back bay window doesn't have any - but I don't have anyone behind me.

my front kitchen and DR windows only have a valance (DH has sheers, but always open) but we are pretty far from the street as well, I'm not concerned.

Most of our windows have some kind of covering, but some don't -- a few windows can't be seen from the street or the neighbors' houses, and a couple are just so beautiful (old, ornate, leaded glass) that I don't want them covered.

The only window we have that doesnt have anything on it is our kitchen window... at first we wanted to do blinds but its rather big and we couldnt find blinds to fit it.... then i said, okay curtainds then... and i never got around to getting them... been living here for almost 9 months that way and prob will keep it that way... its not like we really need the privacy in the kitchen

All of our windows are covered. We have tiered curtains in our kitchen window, every other window will have blinds.

We put up the HD paper shades in every window and are gradually doing the permanent treatments.

When we first moved in no. I liked the way it looked with all the windows and sliding doors open - I just had curtain panels hanging. As time went on I wanted privacy and light control for our bedroom and living room so we got bamboo shades.

Once we did that the rest of the first floor windows felt bare so we got matching treatments in our foyer and office. We have all bamboo shades now.

I am glad we have something on the windows because now the space feels more finished. I think having something on the windows makes it look complete. I loved when they were bare but now I feel like it looks more "finished".

I have wood blinds on every window in our house. Some have panel too some just the blinds.

We have blinds on every single window.

In the living room I have long drape valances just to compliment the windows.

I'm planning to put a short valance in the kitchen and curtains in the bedroom. Not only do I like the privacy, but our place gets LOTS of sunlight (which is a great thing) but sometimes we like to block it out.

Yes, we have blinds and/or curtains on every window and glass door. I hate feeling like people outside can see inside our house when it gets dark out...it creeps me out.

No, I have 2 windows in the back of the house that have nothing on them. One is ny kitchen window and the dinette window only has a sash at the top.
