Never had braces, so I have crooked on the bottom and a gap at the top

I have gapped teeth! I hate my teeth. I had braces for over two years, wore my retainer, weaned off of my retainer, and the gaps came back! Mom told me that the ortho said there was no guarantee the gaps wouldn't come back. I went to a cosmetic dentist and he was a total a**hole to me! He explained how he would file down my healthy teeth into fangs and that it would cost over 10K. Since that was too much money for me to spend, I asked how much it would cost to whiten my teeth. He said, "I wouldn't whiten your teeth. Why would you want to draw attention to them?" I was . I feel like I have Sponge Bob teeth!

I had braces and when I was in college, my top teeth shifted.
I got 4 veneers made before my wedding and it was the BEST $$$$ I ever spent in my life.

I totally have Sponge Bob teeth! My bottoms are perfectly straight (too bad no one see them) and I have a gap in my top teeth and the two next to them are crooked. It is still a bone of contention with my parents as to why my siblings got braces and not me

totally crooked and a big overbite. hate my teeth with a passion. I want to do invisalign, but I don't have that money to layout right now.
Obviously I never had braces.

I HAVE braces now. I just got them back in May. I have the clear ones on the top and regular metal on the bottom. My teeth aren't terrible. A few teeth are crooked but the whole reason I got them is beacuse my left top canine is a baby tooth and its bothered me for so long that it never fell out. I am going to have it pulled on Nov. 8th since there is enough room for the permanent to start to come down. 
Since having them, my front teeth straightened out already!!

Never had braces. My tops are almost perfectly straight. My bottoms are a little more crooked. When I was a kid one of my adult teeth came in sideways, but it straightened out almost all the way on it's own.

When I was young, I had 4 teeth pulled, and braces. Years later, wisdom teeth came in, and had all 4 of those pulled. Unfortunately, it pushed the teeth a little, so although it's not noticeable, I do have a slight overlap of the front two teeth. Just enough to be annoying, considering I had 8 teeth pulled and braces...

Me too! But its only my bottom teeth that moved. My top ones are straight, so luckily you can't notice unless you are up close.
