I sometimes find that only certain people reply to my posts, but I wouldn't consider it "stalker-ish". On the other hand, sometimes I only respond to certain posters, so does that make me one

I stalk Jess, Kat, Tricia, Melissa, Marlo, Lauren, Suz, Barb and a few others. Or at least I pay closer attention when I see a post by them.

I don't have a stalker I know of. I don't think anyone cares that much about me.
One thing I know that is strange is that there are a few posters whose kids I have commented about (nicely, don't worry) and they have never commented on a picture of my DD nor have they ever even congratulated me when she was born

No, but there are certain posters who either amuse me or impress me, so I'm more likely to click on a post they've started - And there are ones who aggravate me, and I tend to try to avoid those. -

As light-hearted as the OP was/is, I "think" some are making allusions to persistent snarkiness they've seen/experienced by others and that's the "stalking"--right? I lurked for so long here because I saw that & didn't want to deal with it. I'm glad I post now, though, because when people are snotty/snarky, they really just reveal themselves for what they are while the rest of us engage in interesting. kind conversation. 
To answer, while I have not "merited" a "stalker" of my own. I've seen others who have the occasional person who's always snarky/condescending toward them--always have to get thel last word, etc. . It's obvious, & sad to see that people feel that they have to come across that way---online.
99% of the people on here, though, seem intelligent, kind, andinteresting, whether or not they agree with what they're responding to.

I wouldn't call it stalking per se - but I do notice that I get a group of the same 4 or 5 people that disagree with me, on occasion. Usually, one person will come on and say something - it's usually the same person each time.
Then the other 3 or 4, will come on with the "ITA" line or the  - you know, something mindless like that, when you have nothing intelligent to say.
And I enjoy it, and love to keep my fans happy

Then I have Stalkers who FM me and ask for free gifts
if we only had a dollar for everytime people talked about you or stalked..
