Do you give your 8-9 month old berries and/or citrus?
Many of the fruit combos have berries (blueberry, raspberry, strawberry), and citrus (orange, pineapple). I always thought we were supposed to wait til a year to give those. Has this changed?
Sorry if I seem out of the loop with this stuff...DD#1 is 8, and DD#2 has such feeding issues, I can't go by anything I did with her. I just forget it all now.

If it was in purees I gave it to dd early on
Blueberries I gave at 9 months when I introduced table food. I waited until 1 year for strawberries even though pedi said I didn't have to.

My kids too started with berries around this age. My DS is addicted to mandarin oranges, he's been eating those since he was about 7 months old.

My pediatrician wanted us to introduce everything except for honey by a year. She doesn't get much citrus in general, but she will eat a piece of orange occasionally if her sisters are. Berries she has eaten every day since about 7-8 months.

whenever they start stage 2 baby food so probably around 6-7 months both kids. most stage 2 were combos with strawberries and blueberries I just made sure to give the same combos for 3 days straight and I made sure to only give combos where they already had a least one of the fruits in it

DD had berries around 9 months. We started with blueberries. She LOVES blueberries. Then we did strawberries at 10 months and mega poops ensued so we slowed down with those. I was actually going to give her a raspberry tonight to try. She's 11 months.

our dr always said the same as what you thought, no berries, melon, pineapple, mangos, kiwi until after 1. I never understood why so many foods have berries, pineapple and mangos in them, it was hard to find an organic fruit that was not a blend. luckily she's 1 now.
