Do you ever wonder if
You will ever see a positive on a pregnancy test. I guess I am feeling sorry for myself today. AF is due today and so far nothing. I took a test and got a BFN. We have been trying for 8 months but DH has some issues. He has perystosis Disease and Low testostorone.
We are starting IF testing soon. DH is seeing a Urologist and I am going to see an RE.
Thanks for listening to me vent. I guess I feel like it will never happen. My insurance comp doesnt pay for IVF, so I think our only option is IUI's.

Re: Do you ever wonder if
I've felt like that many days in the past!!! Many many days. But you're doing the right thing by seeing a fertility doctor and a urologist for your hubby. You're taking a step in the right direction!! Think of it as a step closer to your BFP!!

it took a lot of graduates a very long time (mine was almost 4 years)
I wanted to mention that if you do need to do IVF you can look into state grants and there is a website that offers "scholarships". I can't think of the name but you can do a search.
Good luck to you!!

Re: Do you ever wonder if
I know it took me a very long time to actually see a "sticking" bfp...I saw positives on pregnancy tests constantly! They just never stuck! But going for help is the first step in seeing that positive!!!! Just hang on...you'll get there. And we're all here to help you!

Re: Do you ever wonder if
I know it's hard, but try to stay positive. We got our BFP after 10 months and I felt the same exact way you do. You are definitely doing the right thing seeing an RE. That's how we started, and once we got some of our levels fixed we got our BFP in a few months. Best of luck to you!!!

Re: Do you ever wonder if
Every day I wonder. We've been ttc over a year now, and been seeing an re since april, still no bfp. I get myself all excited every month. It really is so difficult but you just have to keep focused and stay positive. Good luck with everything.

Re: Do you ever wonder if
Yes, I have often wondered that.
I've even considered POAS right after my trigger shot just to see the word positive on a pregnancy test (although a false positive obviously wouldn't be the same).
We just have to have hope and faith that our time will come too!
Once you get the process started w/ the RE, you'll feel more hopeful. Sometimes it's not knowing what you're "plan" will be that causes the most anxiety. I know I felt MUCH better after my 1st appt and hope you will too.

Thanks
I know that we have not been trying for as long as most on this board. For us its a time issue since we are older.

Re: Do you ever wonder if
We all have those days
I think I am just so used to seeing BFNs I kind of expect them. I guess that's why they don't really upset me too much.
Hang in there

Re: Do you ever wonder if
I'm right there with you!! I often wonder where other women find these magical sticks that have 2 pink lines...
I think once I finally get a BFP, I'm going to pee on a million sticks and make a necklace out of them.
I know it's hard, but try and stay positive- we will all get there!

Yes...I definitely wonder if I will ever see a BFP!!! I think I just expect BFNs now! It has been 16 months of trying for us and it is always hard. But, it sounds like you are taking the steps you need to in order to get there. Good Luck!!!!

I can't tell you how many times I felt like that. I had 4 pregnancy losses the last one an ectopic in which I lost my tube an dthen couldn't get PG at all. We had no coverage at all and I was extremely hopeless at one point. Then we decided to liquidate an IRA I had. We spent $12,000 then luckily family helped us with some additional costs and we have our boys. It WILL happen fo ryou. As Donna said-look into the grants and liquidate if you have to. Good luck!

Re: Do you ever wonder if
DH and I have problems on both sides, his and mine. Before we jumped into heavy duty treatments we decided to try some homeopathy options. I started with Apin 6C for my cysts and the woman who is helping us is ordering us a 4 step treatments for each of us. If IVF is not an option at the moment, consider trying alternative treatment. Someone on this site recommended trying herbal remedies so I began my search. Keeping my fingers crossed. In the meantime lots of

Re: Do you ever wonder if
Yes, I often thought this. I even POAS after my ovidrel shot just to see the positive! Even when I did finally get that BFP it wasn't as enjoyable as imagined because I didn't know what to think- if it was an actual pregnancy, ectopic, etc. I def got excited, but you know all that build up takes away the moment sometimes.
Can't wait for all of you to see it, and you all will!
