I have one cup of regular and one cup decaf.
I have heard so many things that you should not eat , like deli meat , tuna, chocolate , diet soda . Everything can be eaten in moderation ( according to my Dr) and none of it except for sushi /raw fish did my dr say was not ok to eat.

Did she say why not to have steak???  We're having marinated steak on Wed for dinner and I can't wait!!!
Not a coffee drinker but I know you should limit caffeine during pregnancy.

I love both Im 11 1/2 weeks and no problems went to get a sono dr said the baby looks great sooo i guess its ok..

I drink one cup of half caff every day and the doc said not to eat steak that is less than medium  I love my steak rare, oh well

Steak is fine - the concern is with raw meat (or undercooked meats) can cause Toxoplasmosis (yes you can get it from things other than changing cat litter). As long as you get it medium (and I do love medium rare so it is hard) or better done than you should be fine!
Coffee is a debatable issue. There have been studies that show that coffee can increase your risk for miscarriage etc. I think 1 cup a day is okay - but some OB's advise avoiding it all together. I honestly avoid it - and on a rare occasion I will have a small amount when I really want something.

I HATE HATE HATE when people are like 'You shouldn't eat that' or 'Are you ALLOWED to eat that' -
As IF I'd eat or drink something MY own Dr. specifically told me not to ???? - 
I am not a coffee drinker, but my Dr. said 2 cups of caffiene a day was ok. -
And I eat steak ........where was the rule about not eating meat??
I mean, eating it blood rare and practically walking off of your plate is not really 'healthy' whether your PG or not ..........but I never heard of anyone being forbidden from filet mignon while PG !! ??

I don't eat steak, but because I don't like it, not because I fear it.  And I drink caffeinated tea every morning - per doctor's orders!! - because of pregnancy migraines. Opinions differ and I tend to think as long as this stuff is in moderation it's fine, especially if my dr okays it. But it's a personal choice. If your dr says it's fine then I wouldn't stress yourself out over it.

at a time i didnt come close to meat.. but i got over the sickness and ate it time to time..
always has a 6 oz coffee in the morning before work...
