Do you blow dry? (your DC's hair)

DD is 2.5 and once it got cold I felt like we needed to get her hair dry b/c it's so long now and there's so much of it. Just wondering if most people do or don't? we use low heat and don't do much. Of course I never would've imagined starting at such a young age but otherwise I"m afraid she'll be cold.

Noo, but DS has no hair, doesn't leave the house or go to bed with wet hair and is afraid of the blow dryer.

I'm pretty sure my mom blew out my hair at about 2 as wellChat Icon Chat Icon

Yes, now that it's cold out, I do blow dry her hair. It's so powdery fine that it takes less than 5 minutes. I tell her that I'm doing her hair like when mommy was a princess (that's what she says about my wedding photos, that it was when I was a princess), and she's all for itChat Icon

I just did DD's hair the other day for the first time She loved it Chat Icon Probably bc it was something new, but she had fun! I sat her on the counter and used the lowest warm setting. I even used a brush to try to style it. Chat Icon

I don't b.c DD won't let me - but I make sure that she doesn't go out until it is completely dry.

Only if it is before bed or if we will be going out anytime in the next couple of hours. I usually give her a bath at night with enough time for it to dry before bed. She doesn't mind it and it comes out nice. I don't want to do it too much and damage her hair though. Its so thin it only takes like 3 minutes.

DD still barely has any hair and she bathes before bed. I often think I should, but it tends to dry before going to sleep so I haven't yet - but I would.

No, but I don't bathe her before we're leaving the house. It's usually close to bedtime, but it dries pretty much before bed.

Gavin is almost 9 months, I put the air on him when I am blowing out my hair to keep him happy and occupied.

Yes, I blow it out every night after her shower. It doesn't bother her and its on a regular high setting too.

Re: Do you blow dry? (your DC's hair)

I usually only do it if we're going out before her hair will dry or if she's going to bed before it dries. She hates the blow dryer.
