they mostly want to make sure your dog has gotten his bordatella shot... when you board your dog, it protects him and all of the other animals around him. bordatella prevents a pnemonia-like cough... and a kennel/boarding facility is like a kindergarten class, one dog has it, they all have it.
look at it this way, it will be cheaper in the long run for you to get this shot so that you don't have to pay for the treatment of bordatella after he was in the kennel.

Daniela -- Ebony was never once boarded...yet I believe he got kennel cough from another dog at the dog park. If I could do it all again, I would not have stopped giving him the vaccine..
