Do you act PG during the 2WW?

This may have been asked before but not in awhile and I'm curious!

I'm sitting here in my 2ww and having a drink and it got me thinking.

Do you act PG during the 2ww? No alcohol or any of the other things you wouldn't do if you knew for sure?

In the beginning I did, I was worried about drinking and caffine but then when I heard that once you get your BFP you stop that, because you dont share the bood stream until 5 weeks? something like that.

Now Im just living it up!

I did when I was pregnant with my DD for sure because by 5DPO I just absolutely knew I was pregnant. I had so many symptoms. Now with TTC #2 I am just "aware" in the 2WW.........I am not a big drinker so that's not a problem for me but I just try not to take any meds if I happen to be sick or have a headache. No Advil, Ny-Quil etc. Other than that I just continue on as normal.

I don't. I did the first few 2WW--and then I found out I didn't even O
Now I'm O'ing, but I realize this can be a long process, so might as well take advantage of being able to drink/have coffee, etc, while I still can.

I have yet to be in the 2WW but when I do I plan on just continuing life as usual ... that's what my OB told me to do too. He said until I see a BFP (although he didn't quite say 'BFP' ) to just live life as I normally would.

No, not anymore. THe 1st month I was like noooo I cant have a drink!! Now I realized I need to be a bit more relaxed and Ive had a couple of drinks here and there.

I answered somewhat....the real answer is no! I am a big believer that you should live your life how you normally would. Women have been getting pregnant forever..and I don't think a normal lifestyle is going to hinder that .I actually think cutting yourself off from things actually causes more stress.

I answered somewhat because I am concoius of my drinks during the 2ww. I like to indulge in adult beverages sometimes ..lol (ok I"m a wino) but I hold back during the 2ww. but totally staying in and not living life would cause me more stress!

No because it would then become an obsession for me and I'd be more upset than I normally am when AF comes. I do what I have to do and then try and keep life as normal as possible during the 2ww.

i don't. the only thing i try to do is have less caffeine. i still have my latte every morning as usual but i try to not have one in the afternoon (i'm a HUGE starbucks junkie). besides that, i really don't do much differently. i figure i still have to keep living my life even when ttc!!

I try to limit everything. I will still drink and have caffeine. Just like I do through out the month...1 cup of coffee a day (max). Then drinking I will have a glass or two of wine and that's it.

nope. no reason not to live my life exactly the same way as if i wasn't PG in regards to drinking. my dr said it was fine, and frankly.. that glass or two of wine is sometimes the only thing that gets me relaxed after a long day at work!
i'd be even more miserable if i stopped drinking for 2 weeks every month for the past year.
As another poster said.. women have been getting pregnant just fine for thousands of years.. i'm not stressing about it until i'm actually PG

No, not really. I'll have a glass (or two) of wine and not think twice. I had a cold-cut sub on Sunday. Once I get a BFP, I'll stop.

This has been said a million times, but you don't share blood with the baby for a few weeks after conception. I'm not that worried.
