Do they learn to have better bladder control as Potty Training goes on?

Jack is doing so well, but has had a few slip ups on the way to the bathroom.

As time goes on are they able to holder it in for longer periods of time?

Yes, I think so. We started that Friday you were hosting the playdate. That weekend he did well - but went all day long with every little dribble (I think he got over 20 stickers that day for going!).
This past weekend we went away and he stayed dry the entire car ride both ways, and at the amusement park he used their potty twice in five hrs or so. He is def empty more each time and going for longer stretches between needing to go again

Does our anxiety ever lessen when they are PT? I am so nervous all the time that he's going to pee somewhere.

it just evolves..

it goes from peeing themselves to sh-arting themselves (sh!tting while farting).

yes, and DD can hold it in like nobody's business.

she has gottne better about saying when she has to go pee pee too.

Definitely!

DS holds it ALL day long at daycare bc he doesnt like to use the bathroom, literally, ALL DAY.

Absolutely. My son went from having accidents, to only wearing a pull up at night, to wearing underwear at night, to holding it in during long car rides. All within a year.

It gets so much easier! I honestly thought that it was such a pain in the arse when he was finally trained....but now its great! I never worry when we are out. We can go on long car rides...trips to outlets and malls...sit through movies!
I promise it will get easier!

It does get easier as time goes on, which is what I am saying to myself since we are training DD right now. She constantly dribbles in her underwear before she makes it to the potty but I think that its getting better as the days go on.
