do these curtains go?
so i am ashamed to say i've lived in my house 3 years and our LR still has the curtains up from the previous owners i wanted something alittle more modern mixed into our traditional livingroom. it's the main room of our house so it functions as a formal room and a play room. this pic is from alittle after we moved in. since we have added:
a leather ottoman coffee table
a round end table between sofa and leather chair
a different end table on other side
a bunch of children's toys (we've had 2 kids since we moved in)
here's the curtain i'm considering

I really like those curtains... IMO I think it's too much going on because of the rug pattern, pillow design and now another design. I would prob stick with solid or get the curtains and change the rug.
The room looks really nice and cozy.

I like those curtains - where are they from?
but, I agree with the above posters who said they're too modern for the decor you have going in that room. The rug and couch pillows are very traditional.

I really don't think they match and kind of clash with that rug(if you still have it) I would get something more plain...

I like the curtains, just not in the room. They are too modern IMO, with the rug and the throw pillows you have. What about a solid or textured dark red or chocolate brown? If you want to go a little more modern you could get panels with the grommets on top.
