Do these colors go together?

This is the color scheme I'm trying to go for, but I don't know how to get there with the right accents I guess.

Here is my bathroom



Color scheme (eta: color scheme only, don't mind the color names and where)


Here are towels I bought, but I'm not sure of them.



Should I just buy ice blue towels and buy dark brown rugs and then put some accents of ice blue and brown around the bathroom? I will be putting a shelf over the toilet and probably two pictures above the towel rack. Any thoughts would be great. TIA!

What about a more "mocha" colored towel...I wouldn't give up on that color scheme yet but I think the brown of those towels might be a little bit too deep and doesn't harmonize with the tone of the other colors in the room as well.

Nice bathroom though!

I think the chocolate is too dark. I would find solid light blue towels and maybe a mocha (as the PP suggested) as well.

I have the same towels

I used them in my white and lite blue bath.

ETA: I would stick more with the greens or tan colors.

IMO, I would go with a lighter brown or taupe if anything and maybe light blue or sage greeen accent finger tip towels.

I pretty much knew the brown/blue towels were a little too much, but i just wasn't sure. well back they go to the store and I will look for just light blue and tan. I think that might look really nice. Thanks for the ideas ladies!

I'm not crazy about the towels, but I do like the color selection.

I would do single towels in both colors and layer them. You also need a piece above the towel bar to pull those colors together.

You could also do a small basket with fingertip towels and candles on the vanity.

The color scheme definitely works - I think the towels are just too much of a contrast - If the towel was blue with a brown border, it would work a bit better .........-

Try to mix up your complimenting colors in solids (or prints if you can find them) to bring small touches of the additional colors into the room -

I think the blue is too icy to be honest. I actually like the chocolate but I would tend more to keeping green, taupe and cream accents.
