Do the crowds at the stores die down today?

I need to go to Target so bad, but not enough to deal with masses of people. Is there a safe time to go out??

I think they are insane today. I would wait until tomorrow.

I might wait - I remember going Sunday morning last year and was surprised how qiet it was.

Usually around lunch time there is a huge lull in the shopping bc all the early morning shoppers went home to sleep/eat etc.

I just got back from Bed Bath and Beyond, Michaels and Costco and none of them were crazy. BB&B was the busiest but I was able to walk right up to a register.

We ended up going to the supermarket, and we practically had the store to ourselves.

I went at 6:30 and it wasn't that bad even!

I just returned from the mall and Target! There were a lot more people in the mall then normal but nothing extreme. Same at target

I'd probably wait until late this evening (around 9PM).

I actually went to a Wal-mart last night around that same time and there was no one in there really. This was in PA though, so I am sure things will be a bit more crazy down here.

We passed the Palisades Mall on the way home earlier and the parking lot looked packed.

i just got back from target...we didnt even wait in line! and we parked really close. This is my 3rd tiem going shopping on black friday and i have never hit these crowds or waited on lines. And I was at green acres mall earlier today and the media was making such a big deal out of everything...the only thing was getting into the mall parking lot took like 10 minurtes but thats just cuz people drive like idiots, other than that it was fine and if we waited on a line it was not long at all

I actually had the guts to go to Walmart today at noon. It actually wasn't too bad. Checkout lines were long. And it didn't help that there was a jackazz that was trying to pay by check when she didnt even have her drivers license with her. How did she get to the store with no license?

We went to Kohl's at 4ish and it was quiet. Walked right up to a cashier to check out.
