Do peds prescribe cough syrup?
I know no OTC meds til 5, but do peds prescribe anything to ease a cough?
Christopher had a little cold and it really has just turned into a nasty cough and I have it too and the mofo hurts, I would call the ped and have DH bring him in if he could get cough medicine.
Was just curious, TIA!

they probably won't prescribe him anything although my ped. told me that I can give him something at night if I want to (OTC). Most probably won't tell you that though. They may say to try some honey also.
If you want, maybe try the hyland's cough syrup that is homeopathic. That might help him.

Kate is it in his chest? Jack had a bad cough and ended up being on the nebulizer for two weeks. I really thought it was just a normal cough.

No, its a post nasely drip cough, KWIM? He was congested in his head and it went down his throat

Same here. I was wishing for a cough medicine for Victoria to calm down the vicious post nasal drip horrible cough she had and I was surprised at how quickly the nebulizer helped clear that all up

Kate, she was horrible for a few days, I really was surprised at how the nebulizer helped clear it up. It took a few days, but you could immediately hear a huge difference in her after using it
