Mine did not. I was a week late and had to be induced. DS was 8lbs at birth!

i dont think that theres statistics either way on that.
i would guess that natural pregnancies would deliver earlier because they aren't always sure of their O date, and even when they are the pregnancies aren't always dated correctly based on O, so in those circumstances i would think delivering a little early would be more common. in IVF we know the dates more exact.
although i did deliver early i would never assume that theres a trend of that, because it would be pretty newsworthy if there was...
