Do I cancel the flu shot due to fever?
Kaila woke up from her nap yesterday with a high fever, shortly after she started with the runny nose and icky cough.
Her temp was high today but not as bad as yesterday, about 100.. maybe 101 at one point.
Her appt. for the shot is on Tueday morning.. I should cancel right? I havent talked to the dr yet.. but my mom was telling me I should hold off.

I would hold off.
I originally post poned Bryans as well because he had a runny nose and a little cough back then.
He did get the shot last weekend though.

If she's not fever free for 24 hours then they probably won't give it anyway.

I would call the ped.... Mine won't do any shots at all with a fever.

I agree, mine wont even give a shot if they have a 99 temp.

My PED said they have to be 2 weeks sick/fever free prior to shots. Otherwise they don't give it.

YES, even though when you take your dc in the doc will examin them to make sure they are helathy be fore giving the shot
