Dizziness
I am so so so dizzy right now. I am 23 weeks. I complained of dizziness to my doc once before and he didn't seem concerned - said it's pretty normal in pregnancy. I am upset by the feeling (probably compounded by the fact that I'm still at work and can't lay down). Anyone else get dizzy like this?

Re: Dizziness
I've had dizzy spells both with my DD and this pregnancy. It's generally considered to be a normal part of pregnancy.
This is from the American Pregnancy Association Website: APA - Dizziness
What causes dizziness during pregnancy?
The main cause of dizziness in pregnancy is due to the rising hormones that cause your blood vessels to relax and widen. This helps increase the blood flow to your baby, but it slows the return of the blood in the veins to you. This causes your blood pressure to be lower than usual, which can reduce the blood flow to your brain, temporarily causing dizziness.

Re: Dizziness
It's so alarming feeling like I'm going to pass out or fall over. I feel like I wouldn't even be able to tell if something was really wrong. I certainly won't miss this part of being pregnant.

Re: Dizziness
ive also been having increased (and longer lasting) dizzy spells over the past few weeks (33.5 weeks now). I mentioned it to my OB last week and he was a bit concerned but my BP and urine we normal. Par for the course unless it gets really bad.
My spells last anywhere from 5 - 45 seconds and its bad but it is short so I guess its normal?

I've been dizzy on and off for the last four hours. I came home from work and got straight into bed and haven't gotten out.

ITA! Some dizziness in pregnancy is normal, but it's usually when you get up too quickly. Are you drinking 10 cups of water a day? And maybe try some juice. In my first tri I got dizzy spells in the morning so I started to drink a cup of juice before leaving for work and I felt better right away.
