Disney's Fall discounts are out!!!
Are these good deals? I guess it depends on the resorts? I try not to think of Disney as a doable vacation because I find it cost prohibitive :(

Yup we booked our trip for October yesterday. Got a great deal but it took me a bit to get through to customer service.

I find disney to be very expensive. We go because we have a time share given to us. But to pay for flights, tickets, hotel, and car rental is pricey. just the tickets for our family already add up to 1000.00

I find it affordable if you plan correctly. I book 9m out and make payments. $4k for 3 ppl with full on dining plans and tickets and other little extras (like xmas party tickets for all of us) seems worth it to me. I put $200 and then make payments.
Its the experience that I love. The cleanilness and the attention that they give. They really 'take you away' from the ordinary world. I have a stressful life so its nice to live a little like I have no cares. I feel 'lifted' and my chest feels easy. I stress a lot and work very hard, I pinch every penny, sweat every dime then for a week.. I eat what I want, do what I want and know its ALL taken care of. It feels... good.
Should I be wasting money like that? No, but it totally resets my batteries for a whole year! I don't do Disney every year and this time is 'close' to the last time (just 2years gap) and I won't be going back for quite some time. I plan all my vacations early and by the year. It gives me something to save for, something to work for, something to look forward to.

Where do you make payments through? Disney's website? or a TA?

I pay disney directly and if I can't afford the trip I can pull the money back out of it and cancel.
