What floors do you suggest? Ive read to stay away from the 1st floor and pool view rooms due to noise. Id love a view of the fireworks but what side is that? We want to request w the agent.
Any other suggestions? How are the buses to Epcot and HS?

Fireworks is standard view facing the MK I believe? That is hit or miss I've read though. You may just see a few over the tops of the trees. We had courtyard bunk bed, I think 5th floor? It was nice since we could see the electrical water pageant from our balcony.
The buses suck. They come quickly, but you stop at the campground, and possibly the other resorts in the area, so I felt like it took forever. Par for the course with Disney buses IMO though.

We just got back. We had a standard room on the sixth floor. It was quiet and we could see some of the fireworks from our window.
The buses were fine. We actually used the boats a lot to go back and forth between the Contemporary and MK. Buses to EPCOT and HS weren't bad at all. Yes there were a few stops but not many.
What drove me bonkers at WL was the noise from the Whispering Canyon Cafe. They have these games they play and the waiters are always yelling like it was the Old West. I know it was part of their stichk (sp?) but it was so annoying! Not what I was expecting for a place with the theme of the Pacific Northwest.
We had breakfast at the Grand Floridian and loved it there. I just wish it weren't so darn expensive.

They have bunk beds FUN!
How are their rates, in relation to the other deluxe resorts?

Cheaper than monorail resorts. I think about the same as Epcot area resorts depending on which room type you want.
We only received a bunk bed room because our room was not clean when we walked into it. I had originally booked regular beds. I personally wouldn't pay the extra for the bunk beds.

I don't think I'd pay extra either. But we liked the boat ride to MK when we ate dinner there one night, so maybe we'll consider the resort to price too.

We were on the first floor, our view was a little grass area with trees. and there were bunnies. It was amazing. No extra noise.
I think the price is in between monorail resorts and the moderate resorts.

Re: Disney Wilderness Lodge
We have stayed in quite a few resorts there and this was our favorite! Try and get a room where you can see the show on the lake from your window.
