Disney Question: Do I need a stroller?

She hasn't sat in a stroller in soooo long. Last year I used it to have when we visited NY (last august) and her feet were dragging.

It made life easier for us in the airport. Something to hang bags on and hold her then hold another bag if necessary.

But she's 5 now. I seriously don't think I can get away with it. Trip is in Novemeber (for now).

Do I even bother?

If so, do I take my umbrella stroller or rent one there?

We just went in June and my nephew who is also five sat in it at times. It's a lot of walking even for an adult. And if they get tired they can always nap for a bit too. My sil only had her old double do she bought that and even my niece who is 7 sat a couple times a day for a bit. I would bring it.

My 6 year old had not sat in a stroller for more than 3 years, and he was fighting his brothers for a seat in it at times...there is alot of walking, and its also a great place to store your things. We had a double jogging stroller and it was great

I would take one. It is a great place to store items as well.

We went in June and I rented a double for my 3.5 and 6.5 year old. My older DS definitely needed it by the end of the day. In fact they both fell asleep in it on the ferry. I don't like the ones you rent at Disney- they don't look comfortable and you still have to give it back before the ferry/monorail when you may still need it. We rented a double City Mini.

Yes for sure. My DD is almost 5 and doesnt use one but sat in it at Hersheypark. It's just too much walking for them. ABSOLUTELY!

I went to disney when I was like 12 with my family. I think I would have sat in it if I could. I would bring one.

I would bring it. My 6 year old DS wanted to sit in it this summer at Disneyland but he did walk every day. We took it for my 3 year old DD. Sometimes my DS would sit in it for a moment even though he was not being pushed around.

I know people with 7 and 5 year olds who still use them there but haven't used one home since 3.

I rented one through babywheels that was waiting at POR for us. Both girls walked a lot but nothing like having on in large crowds and for tired feet. You will get various answers but I would rather have happy kids than cranky feet hurting ones.

We saw a lot of parents with crying whinny kids carrying them. Couple said they wished they brought one.

Do yourself a favor and bring it.

You won't regret it. You will regret NOT bringing it.

Definitely bring it.. Or rent one off site once you get there.... You will need it!!!
