Disney Park Questions
I haven't even done much research yet bc we literally just booked it for October. Staying at a timeshare about 10 mins from Disney with friends.
We will be there a week and the boys ages are going to be 4, 3 and 2.
Is price for a ticket the same for any age or is there a discount for kids?

Children under 3 are free
Yes there's a different price for kids vs adults. Its all what you buy and for how long. I have 6 day hoppers.
They have base tickets, Park Hoppers and no expiration tickets.
Here's an example of pricing on 5 day
Disney's 5-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket (FL): Adult Ticket (Ages 10+)
Member Price: $261.14 (Regular gate price*: $285.42 including taxes)
Disney's 5-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket (FL): Child Ticket (Ages 3-9)
Member Price: $245.21 (Regular gate price*: $266.25 including taxes)
[FYI those discounts are through my office but it was cheaper for me to use Disney because I'm staying on property]
So yes, while there *IS* a discount for kids.. its not huge.

Member Price: $279.69 (Regular gate price*: $306.72 including taxes)
Disney's 7-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket (FL): Child Ticket (Ages 3-9)
Member Price: $262.57 (Regular gate price*: $287.55 including taxes)

Is it worth it to get the hopper pass then? Not sure if we will really be going to a few parks in a day. The kids are 2 and 3. We plan on going early, but my boys tire easily and I see us going back to the timeshare on the earlier side some days.

you can come and go to the same park with one ticket.. the hopper lets you go to ANOTHER park than the first one you visited. I went with just regular when AJ was 3.. then on the last two days bumped it up to a hopper.
They added the difference to our bill. but it was only for those last two days. Which was obviously cheaper than all 7 we had originally booked

Just had this same debate. IMO, the park hopper isn't worth it with such little kids. I really can't see them having the energy to do more than 1 park a day. It's almost $230 to add the park-hopper for the 4 of us.
I did find that moving from a 4-day pass to a 5-day was only $50 more in total so we went with that instead, even though I am planning on a "rest" day in the middle of our trip.

We just got back- stayed at a Marriott vacation club and it was great. We never changed parks in a day mostly cause its a huge pain to get from one to the other with kids, a packed stroller and most likely moving your car if u stay off property.
If the price works out- get the 7 day ticket. But my suggestion is to break up the park days so one day on, next day hang at pool at hotel. It's absolutely exhausting and having a day to recoup in bt I think would be best. But if u relax all morning, u can always decide to hit up a park in the afternoon.

We went in Nov of last year. IMO, park hopper not worth it as it just takes time to get in and out of park. We brought our tickets at

We the most of the trip since we won't be going back for a while. So in 5 days, we did 2 days at Magic Kingdom, Epoct, Hollywood and Animal all 1 day. It was more then enough. I highly recommend 2 days at magic as its soo big and so much to do.
Since you are staying in a timeshare, the owner of time share may be able to get some discounts by attending there meeting. This is what my BIL did when we stayed at his timeshare. Under 3 dont need tickets and from what i heard, most 3 year olds are 2 that day :) At hind sight, i could of dropped Epcot as the adults just did the world tour and the kids were just happy to be outside .

Thanks! I was just going to ask about that site. What's different about that site versus the Disney site? Any better discount? Gotta look into renting a car.

We, we did the park from pretty much to open till 9 everyday. We took some off days too.
We just looked up various airport car rental places and took the best deal. Your saving some money..not a whole bunch. When we purchased, it was price of 4 tickets for 5 days.
I also highly recommend you use there calendar to see crowds and special events as for us, it was dead on correct.
