Disney has me stressed out
I just had to book my fast passes and honestly all this scheduling has given me super anxiety. I feel like I am mapping out and pre-planning every second in the day to make sure I fit everything in. I feel like 2 days won't even be enough to get everything done. I am so upset!

Don't be stressed. If you did your FPs you are done.
You won't get everything done in 2 days so don't even try. What parks are you going to? Maybe someone here can help you.

Spending 2 days at Magic Kingdom. Really thought it would be enough time. I guess I was wrong!

this is true. You def won't get everything done in 2 days but try to focus on the must dos for this trip. I've been 3 times and still feel like there are things that I didn't get to do.

Re: Disney has me stressed out
We are doing the same vacation but are looking forward to just relaxing by the pool as much as possible.
DS is still young enough that we will do what we can at the 2 days we are in WDW and I don't think he will care if we don't get it all in. He WILL care about the pool though much more ;).
Disney is going to be stressful enough with the lines....I refuse to make it more stressful by worrying about planning too much of anything.
I showed him a bunch of the rides on YouTube and let him pick what HE wanted to do.
I also refuse to plan anything around meal times.
I booked a couple restaurants but we're not stressing ourselves with that either.

we have two full pool days planned, plus we already go to the pool once every single day during the summer so it's def. not part of our plan lol.

ok - those do get a long wait so FPs to those are great.
but can you do rope drop to hit some of these first thing.

Re: Disney has me stressed out
If you are staying at a WDW resort, do you only get the extra magic hour on the day advertised or do they always let you in an hour earlier?
Also another tip:
Almost everyone I talked to (including 2 families who were there 2 weeks ago) said get to the park at rope drop and head immediately to the back of the park. They both got on some of their FPed rides this way and were able to re-book other rides for later in the day.

Re: Disney has me stressed out
You made great choices. You are fine. Don't stress.
You can get more after you use your third. You have to go to a kiosk in the park - any kiosk, it doesn't have to be near the ride you want. At that point, you'll be more familiar with the rides and you can pick what you want based on current wait times and (obviously) availability.
Have a great time!

2 days are fine. Relax! It's supposed to be a vacation! If you don't get to everything... So what? It's about the experience! If you stress yourself out to fit another activity or 2, are you accomplishing anything? How old is your kid again? Some of those rides are scary. I loved the electric parade.

Re: Disney has me stressed out
Definitely Space Mountain and probably the bigger roller coasters....will she even meet the height requirement?
I know 2 people who just did Disney with 5-year-olds who said they were crying and terrified on Space Mountain. (One girl and one boy).
They also said what makes it worse is you can't sit side by side. My friend had to lean all the way up and over a bar practically to hold on to her daughter the entire ride.
Remember it's in the dark and looks like you are going to fly off the track.

The roller coasters you FP are great choices for adults though not sure about your 3 yo. Def might be scary for her plus she might not even meet the height requirements. If she loves pooh then the pooh ride is a great choice. Peter Pan is so much fun...another great choice because the lines get long. Not scary at all. If she loves Ariel, try FP Under the Sea ride. Not sure if it gets a long wait though.

Re: Disney has me stressed out
My son was scared of the pooh ride at 3- there was a really dark bumpy part that had the triply elephants. Maybe find a video and have her watch it first.

Ohhhh.... Ok then!
Thought you planned on taking her on splash & space mountain, etc. which scare me!!!
No, the non roller coasters are generally not scary (except maybe for my DD who was very scared on the jungle cruise as she thought it was all real). Pirates of the carribean is a bit... Exciting.
Peter Pan is not at all scary & we did little mermaid 3 times because it started raining & we just looped back (no wait).

I'm so bummed...Pirates is closed when we are headed down in August!!
OP, again I'm sure you will be fine.
Also Reddit has a great WDW page and I've gotten so many great tips for the trip from them.
There are many CMs and regulars who post who can give advice about wait times, etc.

This is good advice. A surprising number of rides at Magic Kingdom are "dark" rides, and while the actual content of the ride is not scary, the fact that it's fully in the dark can throw some kids off. I know we couldn't do any dark rides when my DS was 2.5.

true there can be one potentially scary part on the Pooh ride..the dark bumpy part with the elephants but it's such a quick ride. so short. Youtubing videos of rides is a great idea.
