I think we are going to disney for the food and wine festival! we are such disney nerds. i have never been to the F&W festivel, is it worth getting the dining package or will we mostley just eat there?

I probably wouldn't - but it will depend on what you want to do. If you want to eat a lot off the various carts/stands you CAN use a snack credit for some of it - but if you think you will do that more than sit down meals I would probably pay OOP. Otherwise if you think you will only do a little bit of those food options but still want to do sit downs daily then you might need to sit down and work it out and see because you might be okay with the Dining plan and then paying OOP for the extra snacks.

If you're adventurous eaters, are getting the Park Hopper ticket option, and will be eating most of your meals at Epcot, I'd say skip the dining plan.
Another option would be to use your table-service credits for Signature dining meals (2 credits each) and then eat small plates and your snacks at Food & Wine.

Food and Wine is AMAZING! You've made an excellent choice! We're making our 2nd Food and Wine trip this fall.
Where will you be staying? If you're staying somewhere with easy access to EPCOT and/or you plan to spend a lot of time there, you can have a great time eating your way around the World.
However, I really enjoyed having the Dining Plan during Food and Wine. It made the experience so nice to be able to plan such great experiences both inside and outside of EPCOT. We really made it a trip about discovering all of the great dining at WDW and now we just love the restaurants. We tried so many we hadn't tried before. Best of all, we saved our snack credits and used them for tasting portions at the festival. That was so much fun. I also felt better about being adventurous and trying things I may not like since it was "included" and I wasn't paying cash.

You can! That was the best part for us. Since there is so much food, we took our desserts to go and used them as snacks and then used the snack credits to eat around the world. Not EVERYTHING is included, but we found most were.

snaks are only consider up to a certain price that is probably why some work and some dont. Thankyou for all your help!

Yup, exactly though at Food and Wine there are some surprisingly expensive plates that count as snacks.

When we do food and wine, we do one day eating at the booths with no big meal. We go back another day and eat the ones that were our faves - we usually have a late dinner ressie then. I am always surprised at how snacks can fill you up lol
