Dishwasher
How often do you run it and how many people are in your household.
It's just DH and I and I feel like we run it too much, like every other day.

usualy 1x a day we are two people. I do not like to leave dirty dishes in there- especially in the warm weather months.  I cook a lot, so I also put in my pots and pans. Also, we have a setting on ours for a speed clean , it is 46 minutes. If we are not going to be using a lot of dishes we will use paper plates, so I do not have to run the dishwasher.

It is just DH and I...we run it about once every 4 days? Our only dishes are dinner b/c we eat breakfast and lunch at work.

Two of us. Probably every other day also.
I cook most nights so between my tupperware from lunch @ work, the thousands of glasses my DH needs to use a day   , pots,pans. dishes..it fills up quickly!

Same here and when I had babies I used to sterilze bottles in there so it was more then that. Love my dishwasher!

2 adults and an infant - we ran it every night for his 1st 6 mos, but now he only has 4-5 bottles a day so we can stretch the dishwasher run to once every other day. EVERYTHING goes in the dishwasher though - highchair tray, toys, etc.

Same here. I re-use my water glass to cut down on the how many glasses we use. I just have a cover for it.
