Discharge Question- TMI

For 3 days I have been having this dark brown, almost black discharge and I'm really starting to worry. I've made an appointment for my obgyn for Friday, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before? My cycles are really wacky and I don't know when I ovulate, so could this be inplantation bleeding? Today is cd58.

I've never experienced that... but anytime you have strange discharge I recommend calling the doc - if you hadn't said almost black I would have just assumed it was "old" blood, but especially with such a wacky cycle - cd58 is crazy!

I've had it once before and it never happened again. AF came a few days later. I'm pretty sure implantation bleeding is not old blood.

I, like you, never knew when or if I ovulated and had long cycles, some even longer than 60 days. Once I started temping and using the CBEFM, I was able to get a better handle on my cycles and strangely they've become shorter (32-36 days on avg.) and more regular.

I didn't have wacky cycles, but since going off BC i would spot for sometimes up to 10 days before AF and some of those days it was really dark discharge/blood. almost black. it was usually when the spotting flow wasn't heavy enough, so i assume the blood was very old.

i also just got a BFP this week and the week prior i experienced some mild cramping and brown discharge which, in hindsight, was very likely implantation related. i know a lot of people say brown is not implantation, but for me it seemed to correspond.
