disappointed, with an upside!

We have been in contract with a 2 bedroom co-op for quite sometime now and the process is taking FOREVER, but today we found out we will not be in there by the time our LO comes!

It's a handy man special so a lot of work has to be done (new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, etc), and our closing isn't scheduled until a week before my due date.

So I guess I'll have to start setting up for her in our apartment, even though I really didn't want to!

But there is an upside to it, I can finally start getting things ready for her arrival!!!!

I wanted us to be out of this apt by the time our babygirl arrives too, so I get the feeling of being disappointed. We still havent found a home yet though. Our one offer fell through :( It stinks


but like you said, you can start getting ready now and all a baby needs at that point is your love! It will be fine!!
