Disability...
does any one know the process of collecting it? I know they don't give you much but every little bit helps. TIA

This is what I got as far as instructions from the person that handles our benefits...it's for NYS disability
"I will send you the paperwork that needs to be completed for the NY Disability. You will then need to complete your section and give it to your doctor for his part. Then send it in and that's it."
Seems pretty easy.

hmmm, thanks. I guess I should call the disability company. It is actually my job to do that kind of stuff but the company is only 3 people and I haven't had to do it yet, lol.

There are 3 parts to the disability form. One for you to fill out one for your doctor and one for your employer.
ETA: I just went throught the whole process of filling it out because I was taken out of work early for complications. I've been collecting sick pay for now I haven't received a check for the state yet.
