didnt feel the baby moving a lot so...
i went to the dr yesterday for a non stress test, everything is good, they did another internal to try to brew things up, they said i may spot...wellll wow did it hurt....i dont know what he didi.....did anyone ever hear of this moving thigs along...im due wed. and im dying....

Michelle, I came on hoping you werent still here!!! I've heard of them stripping the membranes, and that helping. I know how you feel. I had Derek on my due date, and I was going batty before that!

yes, he stripped your membranes (ouchie!)...after they did this to me I had contractions all night after that but then I was induced the next day

I've heard that stripping your membranes does help things along. I don't know though....I was two weeks late.

the dr. w/his finger runs it along your cervix...it really just does something on a cellular level ... it doesnt really mean he is seperating any kind of tissue in there ... I believe the spotting that can occur after it is from your mucus plug
