The manufacturers won't take them back b/c they have not been recalled - the only thing you can do with them if you no longer want to use them is throw them away.

Is it bad to donate them somewhere? I have Born Free for my newborn but I have a bunch of unused Avent bottles from my 2 year old as well as my Dr. Brown's that I did use. I'm scared of BPA but some people are not. I hate to just dump them if someone could use them.

I threw out all the nipples. I put the advent and dr browns downstairs. I had the evenflows down there only to find out today that they were BPA free. So now I have my drop in and Evenflows ready to go for this baby (sans the nipples of course)

I am waiting for definitive report OR #2 to be done with bottle before I throw them out. I will not use the advents or dr. browns until them (but if DD wants to play with them with her dolls I am not opposed either)

I had a bunch of Avent bottles- and I had only used them for 2 months- so they were pretty much brand new- I sold them on ebay- i can't believe someone bought them- but they did!!!!!
