Did you know that you can't use BRU coupons on toys?
Apparantly you can't use the 20% off coupons on toys. It actually says it right on the coupon but I had no clue, so I went there to buy a learning table for DS to give him for christmas and the girl told me you can't use it for toys. 
Anyway...after giving me a bit of an attitude (b/c I told her I would just buy it at BBB instead then) she tried the coupon and it worked! 
BUT it DID actually say it on the coupon so I just wanted to give you all the heads up!

Ugh, found that out the hard way last week but BBB does take BRU coupons for toys. Go figure.

i hate BRU for so many reasons 
i got an email coupon yesterday for 30% off entire clothing purchase. I also had a $10 off $50 clothing purchase rewards coupon. NEITHER said you cant use two clothing coupons and they would only let me use one
after arguing it for 5 minutes, i gave up

So annoying. Some of the coupons say "baby item only" and they are really picky about what you can get. Hi, this store is called BABIES r us, right?

I think it depends on what BRU you go to - I had issues at the one in Commack but, the one by my house had never heard that (Nanuet).

It does depend on the cashier...I always pick one of the younger ones. I bought the foam mats for DS and she wasn't sure if it would work...But she scanned it and it did...She was cool with trying it...I usually shop at the one in Massapequa...

Same here. I also tried to use my coupon for a toy today and it was denied. I also returned an item to TRU today with the gift receipt and they refused to give me cash. They gave it to me on a gift card. They are so annoying.

It really angers me. I truly want them to stop sending them to me because I feel like they are taunting me for not having another baby.
But I do give them to our neighbors that have a baby. Makes me feel a bit better.
