Did you go on a babymoon?
We were originally planning a babymoon to the Caribbean or Mexico but we never scheduled it because I've been suffering from morning sickness throughout my second trimester.
Now I'm thinking of suffering the flight. I may as well puke on a beautiful island vs puking at home in NY.

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
Go somewhere you don't have to fly . We went for a long weekend up to MGM at Foxwoods to see a show and then went around New England for a bit. It was sooo nice and relaxing, and I didn't have to fly.

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
I wish we would have. I really did think of it at the time. It would have been really nice. We did go to Maine right when I found out I was PG for our 1yr Anniversary.
And this yr we are going to AC for a few days because it is free Oh I forgot we went to Disney in Oct that was sort of a babymoon
We flew and it was ok but I did get sick on the way home but I think it was more anxiety then anything.

Lurking
We did and if you can swing it, do it! It was soooo much fun. It was honestly one of the best vacations we've had and I think it was because our bodies knew to just relax since that was it for what, 20+ years or so?
We went to a great place in Punta Cana - FM if you'd like info.

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
We didn't ... unless you count going out to Boston with friends for a weekend
We have been conserving $ so I can spend more time at home after the baby ...it'll probably be a few years before we see another vacation

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
We were going to, but couldn't agree on where to go.
Ended up doing home renovations before the baby gets here. Figured that would be a better idea.
I plan on taking DS everywhere (when possible) :)

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
We already planned a 2- or 3-night trip to Mohonk Mountain House.
I don't really feel comfortable flying later on in the pregnancy, so this was a good compromise for us.

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
No! I really have no desire to travel, especially on a plane to another country. I would go on a short driving trip, but that is about it. If this counts, I went to Europe for 2 weeks when I was 5-7weeks along. I had the trip planned before getting PG. I had M/S the whole time, so I didn't really enjoy myself.

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
We went to Charleston & Savannah for a week. We also went to Florida, but with my parents' to their condo. We were supposed to go to Holland, but my grandpa passed away a few days before we were going to leave....so we cancelled.
This time we are going to Florida again, but with my parents and our DD. It's more of a "last time away with only one kid" moon, LOL.

Thanks! DH is a little sad that I won't be able to do as much of the physical stuff like rock climbing, but I am hoping I at least feel up to short hikes on the mountain.

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
NOPE!! We're saving every bit if money for the baby and all of our moving (just moved into a new apt and then will be officially moving to NC this summer).
We are going to Wilmington, NC and Charleston, SC for X-MAS to be with family so thats the closest we're getting to a babymoon!

Make sure that you take advantage of the spa and get some prenatal pampering.
Now I'm thinking maybe we should plan something local and close enough that we don't have to fly.

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
With DD we had a cruise scheduled and we were trying to TTC so we knew there was a possibility that I could be pregnant when we booked. I was 10 weeks and had a fabulous time - it was very relaxing and a nice trip before the baby.
This time we didn't really have one - and we aren't planning one - but I did find out I was pregnant at disney so does that count?

Re: Did you go on a babymoon?
we did!! we went to an all inclusive in Jamaica! We went around the end of july but it worked out b.c our anniversary was July 1st. so it was kind of an anniversary trip/babymoom. we prob. would have held off traveling had we not been pregnant but we figured that this will be our last big trip alone for a while so, why not!
